Bridging the gap between academic innovation and commercial diagnostics. We develop affordable, patent-backed point-of-care testing platforms for clinically relevant biomarkers.
Papersens Pvt Ltd is a spin-off start-up from a completed Department of Biotechnology grant awarded to Dr. K.S. Prasad. Founded in 2019, we are incubated at the Yenepoya Technology Incubator (YTI).
To invent affordable and practical solutions for disease diagnosis, making healthcare accessible to all.
Availability of affordable point-of-care testing platforms for need-based clinically relevant biomarkers and novel drug delivery routes.
We utilize our scientific strength to address affordable point-of-care testing platforms. With advice from clinicians at Yenepoya Deemed to be University hospital, we ensure our solutions are practically relevant.
Since the startup is a spin-off from academic research, we are translating ideas that might have otherwise remained as publications into tangible products. Currently, we are working on paper-based microfluidic platforms for age-related neurological issues, as well as child and women's health.
Built on a foundation of rigorous academic research and validated technology at NMRL Yenepoya.
